News From The Fairy Queen

Dear Fairy Friends

Well I hope you have all had a good week. Have you been helping around the house? I do hope so.

I have had a lovely week as Fairyland has been very calm and I have been enjoying visiting all my fairies in my land. We have many different kinds of homes, some in woods, some in parks & even in peoples gardens and homes. You must always be on the lookout as you will see us in all different places.

This week I went to a small Hamlet in Bedfordshire. The fairies had created a big hall so they could hold dances and shows, a general meeting place for fairies. They had asked me to go as The Fairy Queen, as they were going to hold a Fairy Ball.

The hall was at the base of a large tree. You went in through a fairy door at the base of the tree and into a huge hall. It was beautiful - it had an upstairs balcony with tables round so you could sit and watch all the activities below. The fairies had been very busy and the place was a buzz. In the centre of the hall was a large chandellier, hanging down from it was lots and lots of chrystals, all different shapes and sizes, it glistened as the lights hit them and sent a rainbow of colours accross the room. The outside of the hall had been decorated with tiny fairy lights and the whole place was a glow, beautiful flowers decorated the tables. Everyone was very excited about the ball and all the fairies were busy making new outfits. The whole place was a buzz of activity.

But I will tell you more about the ball next time.

Weekly News from the Fairy Queen

Hello to all my Fairy Friends

Well I have just landed after a very busy week doing fairy business. I wanted to start writing to all you children so that you could write back to me.

I am the Fairy Queen and I have a very busy job looking after all the fairies in my Kingdom.

I have just been to see the Tooth Fairy, who as you know has a very busy and important job. She was not feeling very well and I had to help her out for a while until she was feeling better. I do hope all you children out there believe in fairies. We do a very important job.

We spend a lot of time looking after the flowers and the rabbits. We have many animal friends and if you look carefully when you next see the rabbits running around you will often see the fairies flying with them.

We also spend a lot of time with you children, sometimes you do not see us but you must always believe.

I would love it if you could write to me - I always answer, if not straight away, within a few days. So children please write or draw me a picture and I will get my friends at ‘Away With The Fairies’ to put it on there lovely website.

I will, write more next week. Be good and remember to always help your Mum and Dad and be kind to one another,
